On July 20, 2017, in Veliko Tarnovo, was made tethering with a hot-air balloon LZ-APP, which gathered over 200 citizens. Adults with children’s dreams to fly, many curious young citizens of Veliko Tarnovo, as well as people who could not see but could experience this adventure, were eager to enjoy the flying, even only ten meters high. We believe that with its enormous attraction among the people, the hot-air balloon will promote the new tourist product to be offered throughout the cross-border region Romania-Bulgaria.
On July 18, 2017, the first tethering with hot-air balloon LZ-APP took place in Ruse. On the square in front of the Courthouse, citizens had the opportunity to climb the balloon, which rose many times up to 10 meters above the beautiful Danube town.
The performance of this activity under Project “Balloon Adventure – a new joint tourism product” brought us satisfaction from a well-done job because we saw the smiles and pleasures of the people who attended this attraction. Many of them were interested in the purpose of this event and details of upcoming events on the project. The goal of popularizing the idea of a new tourist product was achieved, as well as through the representatives of various local and regional media from the Ruse region, who announced the event.

The Executive Director of ARRBD-Vidin presented in details the idea of the project, namely the development of a new tourist product in which the flying with hot-air balloon to be offered along with the sightseeing of natural and cultural-historical landmarks.
The seminar was attended by the pilot Mihai Ilie, as well as the ground crew, who, within the framework of the project, carried out the free flights and tethering in the areas of the cross-border region.
On the second day of the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to observe the attachment of a hot air balloon LZ-APP, which drew the attention of more than 100 citizens of Ruse.
